Late Linda

Late Linda(Surrey, BC), 42 years old, cancer
In early March 2011, the phone rang. The call came from Presbyter Cho. He asked me to pray for his daughter-in-law, Linda.
I hurriedly packed SAC calcium and went outside. It was a rainy day. I was trying to cross the Port Mann Bridge in a hurry because presbyter Cho waited for me in front of Macdonald in Guilford, Surrey. While walking together to his apartment, we talked about the health condition of Linda. One year ago, she got breast cancer surgery, but on February, the cancer recurred and spread to her liver, lung, bone, and brain.
When we opened the door, Linda greeted us. She looked very sick and her two children quietly read the books. Her mother came to take care of Linda and two children. I held her hands and prayed for her. She was not fluent in Korea, so we talked in English.
I asked her to add SAC calcium to water and informed her of cancer fighting foods.
Before taking calcium, she had slept on the side due to back pain. However, she was able to get a comfortable sleep after taking calcium.
Before taking calcium, she used to wear shoes bigger than her size, due to swollen feet. She said that she could eat often because she got comfortable on the stomach. She was also comfortable in her mind.
I got a call from her in May. She said she was able to exercise for 2 hours a day.
On September, 23th, I got an email from Presbyter Cho before I was about to leave my house for business trip. According to him, Linda’s brain tumor was entirely eliminated and Linda was scheduled to get a mammogram in 2 weeks. I had been waiting for the test result, but I did not get a response from Linda yet. On Monday morning, Linda called me. She repeatedly said thank you for your support. Before taking calcium, she felt her liver was hard when she palpated her liver; however, she felt her liver was soft after taking calcium. She felt she almost recovered from the cancer. On September, 23th, she said that she was able to go shopping and to drop off and pick up children, did some household chores. She went to see her doctor. The doctor said that Linda was healthy enough to get chemotherapy, so the doctor suggested her to participate clinical trial of new medication. On February, 26th, 2012, Presbyter Cho said that Linda was not able to refuse the offer from her doctor. Since February, 26th, I did not hear anything from Presbyter Cho and Linda. In fact, Presbyter Cho felt sorry for me so he did not tell me that Linda’s condition rapidly deteriorated after receiving chemotherapy and she no longer endured chemotherapy.
Linda passed away.

When I attended Linda’s funeral, Linda’s mother held my hands and said that she was regretting to let Linda receive chemotherapy. When I looked at Linda’s corpse, I noticed that her fingernails turned black- side effect of chemotherapy.


Hye-Kyuong Youn(Surrey, BC), 49 years old, cancer
In early July, 2011, Deaconess Youn was diagnosed with intestinal cancer-the cancer spread to her lungs and liver. Before getting a surgery, Deaconess Youn was told to receive chemotherapy in order to reduce tumor size. Deaconess Youn asked the doctor about tumor progression, but the doctor did not answer. Meanwhile, Deaconess Youn had a surgery due to intestinal obstruction. After 2 weeks, Deaconess Youn received chemotherapy. Due to side effects, her hands and face turned black, and wounds did not heal easily. Deaconess Youn started to take SAC calcium since mid-August. Her hands turned normal and granulation tissue formed into wounds and wounds were gradually removed. As her health condition became better, many people said that she did not look like a patient with cancer.
Whenever Deaconess Youn went to receive chemotherapy, the doctor repeatedly asked her what she was taking because she looked very healthy.
In early November, I got a call from Deaconess Youn’s husband, Deacon Lee. He said that the CEA level (392) went down to 97. A translator, who worked for Deaconess Youn for last 10 years, told Deacon Lee that she had never seen a patient like Deaconess Youn.
The doctor repeatedly asked Deaconess Youn what she was taking.
Deaconess Youn said that she felt thankful for recovery. She also said that she was afraid of asking about her health condition before she took SAC calcium, but it is time to ask the doctor about her tumor progression.
I had coffee with Deaconess Youn at the Coquitlam Center. When we went outside, an autumn night got darker with last maple leaf.
In March, 2012, I did not recognize that Deaconess Youn continuously received chemotherapy twelve times. I asked her to take SAC calcium without anti-cancer drugs, but she still got anti-cancer drugs, as well.
Deaconess Youn passed away.


Elder Cho

Elder Young-Il Cho(Surrey, BC), 68 years old , cancer
In March, 2010, Elder Cho was diagnosed with prostate cancer, he was diagnosed with intestinal cancer and in July, 2010. He received a surgery in August.
In order to remove fecal impaction, the surgeon planned to pull out intestine from the side.
On the day of surgery, I went to Royal Columbia Hospital in New Westminster. It was a beautiful, sunny day. When I arrived at the hospital, Presbyter Cho and his daughter-in-law, Linda went to the hospital a little bit late. While waiting, I held two hands and prayed that please do not pull out intestine from the side. After praying, I went out, but I felt composed.
On the next day, while heading to downtown, I got a call from Presbyter Cho. He said that he let me know the result first….
Before the surgery, the surgeon measured where fecal came out and decided where to make incision on the abdomen. However, while having a surgery, the surgeon removed fecal impaction without pulling out intestine from the side. The surgeon was taken aback.
I said “Hallelujah”.
Since August, Elder Cho took SAC calcium and managed prostate cancer and intestinal cancer, and finally he completely recovered from prostate cancer and intestinal cancer in January, 19th, 2012. He has still taken SAC calcium without any break.

Bum Seok

Bum-Seok Kim (Surrey, BC), 45 years old, brain cancer
Bum-Seok Kim had a tumor in the center of the brain. There were too many risks of the surgery so he decided to live without any surgery. However, he suffered from chronic fatigue. Since July, Mr. Kim had started to take SAC calcium. After taking SAC calcium, he did not feel tired even if he worked for 24 hours and said that he had a new life. In early November, I met him at the church. He said that the tumor was reduced by half size.
In April, 2014, he started SAC calcium business.

Develop treatments for cardiovascular diseases

According to WHO, cardiovascular disease (CVDs), mainly heart disease and stroke, is the top cause of death globally. Statiscally, about 17.3 million people have died from CVDs in 2008, representing 30% of all global death, and over 80% of CVDs take place in low and middle income countries. Most CVDs can be prevented by control diet, tobacco use, obesity, high blood pressure, diabetes and physical activity.

Calcium plays an important role in regulating the contraction and relaxation phases of the cardiac cycle. Calcium flows into the muscle cells through tiny channels and works as a switch that allows each heart muscle fiber to slide past each other and shorten to contract. At the end of each contraction, calcium flows out of the channels to allow the muscles to relax and lengthen again. Indeed, myocardial contractility is primarily controlled by calcium cycling. When there are calcium ion cycling defects in heart, the heart is not able to adequately pump sufficient blood and it leads to heart failure, which is characterized by reduced calcium entry into cardiac muscle cells and decreased myofilament calcium sensitivity. Consequently, many health professionals have suggested that improvements in calcium cycling or sensitivity be an useful treatment of heart failure. Calcium also plays an important role in triggering timely and strong enough contraction in the cardiac muscle to circulate blood throughout the body. The cardiac muscles require calcium to contract and squeeze blood out of the heart and into the arteries in in the body. The CBHI suggest that SAC calcium plays an important role in the maintenance of cardiac function and blood circulation because SAC calcium may promote cardiac relaxation and contractility. In other words, SAC calcium helps synchronize cardiovascular muscle contraction. We are planning to examine how SAC calcium positively influence cardiac function over next few years.

Many scientists have argued that the death of brain cells following a stroke is associated with an overload of charged calcium particles or ions. As the brain does not receive enough oxygen due to reduced blood flow, it causes high levels of calcium within the brain cells. They suggest that blocking the entry of calcium ions into dying nerve cells to treat stroke is not the answer for stroke. It is required to remove calcium ions from the nerve cell in order to treat stroke. We are planning to develop SAC calcium to help remove unnecessary calcium ions from the brain cell in order to adjust calcium imbalance. Based on the recent scientific findings, measuring calcium level in the arteries gives a better indicator of likelihood of heart attack and stroke.

Recent studies shows that patients with stroke have higher levels of calcium in their arteries, especially in coronary arteries. High serum calcium level leads to calcium deposit in the body, which contribute to the development of cardiovascular diseases. The CBHI have found that SAC calcium helps correct the calcium imbalance by directing calcium to bones and excreting unnecessary calcium in the body. The CBHI will investigate the effect of SAC calcium on stroke.

Develop treatments for diabetes

According to WHO, the global prevalence of diabetes was estimated to be 9% among adults aged 18+ years. CBS News found that about 371 million people have diabetes in the world and an estimated 4 million deaths were directly caused by diabetes in 2011. WHO projects that diabetes will be the 7th leading cause of death in 2030. Already $471 billion was spent treating diabetes in 2012.

Recent studies have demonstrated that impaired fasting glucose is one of predictor of type 2 diabetes. Calcium regulates blood glucose and plays an important role in the release of insulin because calcium is an intracellular messenger that is used throughout the life cycle of an organism to control diverse biological processes. In fact, insulin secretion is a calcium dependent biological process. Calcium is needed for the release of insulin to respond to higher amounts of blood glucose.

Diabetes is a condition in which cell Ca2+ homeostasis is impaired. According to several researchers, elevated calcium is associated with insulin resistance and fasting glucose. It indicates insulin resistance and secretion depend on calcium homeostasis. Recent studies suggests that high serum calcium concentration is associated with an increased risk of type 2 diabetes. However, there is limitation in blood test because total calcium level is detected in the blood test. About 50% of calcium is protein bound in the blood and 40% is ionized calcium which is physically important.

We have undergone clinical trials for Ca2+ homeostasis. Unlike regular calcium, SAC calcium is found to help regulate calcium level in the blood. The normal range for serum calcium is 2.2~2.6 mmol/L. SAC calcium directs calcium to bones and helps kidney excrete unnecessary calcium in order to maintain calcium balance in the blood. SAC calcium is also thought to regulate blood glucose by stimulating hormones, especially secretion of insulin. In addition, a small change in serum calcium level will lead to serious health condition. Excess calcium (hypercalcemia) can cause kidney dysfunctions and dementia while calcium deficiency can cause eye damage, brittle bones and osteoporosis.

There is not a cure for type 1 diabetes except injecting insulin. CBHI will study how SAC calcium can help patients with type 1 diabetes in near future and strive to provide more effective treatment. Prevention is more important than treatment. The CBHI is planning to invent dietary supplements for prevent diabetes by developing SAC calcium.

 According to Cancer research UK, cancer is a leading cause of disease worldwide. Worldwide, one in eight deaths is due to cancer and it causes more deaths than AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria combined. In 2012, there were an estimated 14.1 million new cases of cancer in the world. WHO suggests that global cancer rates could increase by 50% to 15 million by 2020.

Cancer is caused by both external factors, such as tobacco and chemicals, and internal factors such as inherited mutations and mutations that occur from metabolism. Prevention is the most important way to live a healthy life. Early detection of potential malignancies is the most treatable. Modern medical cancer treatments, such as chemotherapy and radiation therapy, are usually difficult to tolerate. They are also associated with a certain degree of risk for side effects. In fact, current cancer therapies usually focus on killing growing cells. However, normal cells are also likely to be damaged by treatments.

In 1932 Otto Warburg who won the Nobel Prize in Medicine for his discovery that cancer was anaerobic. There are many recent scientific evidence that there is the link between acidic pH and cancer. Pathogens, including cancer cell, thrive in an acidic environment due to absence of oxygen. One of the main cause of cancer is a lack of oxygen supply. Blood must always remain at an alkaline pH 7.4 in order to retain its oxygen.
